Infrastructure

Infrastructure refers to the fundamental facilities and systems that support the functioning of a society or organization. This includes the physical structures such as roads, bridges, railways, airports, utilities (water, electricity, telecommunications), and buildings (schools, hospitals, government offices). Infrastructure is essential for economic development, enabling transportation, communication, and the provision of services essential for daily life. It encompasses both the hard infrastructure (the tangible physical assets) and soft infrastructure (the systems and services that support the delivery of public services, such as legal systems and education). Effective infrastructure not only facilitates mobility and connectivity but also enhances quality of life and economic productivity.
